How to Apply

Admission Process

Admissions are conducted through the Maharashtra Government's Centralised Online Admission Process (CAP) via mahafyjcadmissions.in — as per State norms.

Visit mahafyjcadmissions.in, enter your SSC marks & personal details, upload required documents and obtain your Login ID & Password.

Fill Option Form — Part-2 (College & Stream Preference)

Select your preferred stream (Science / Commerce / Arts / MCVC) and add up to 10 junior colleges in order of preference. Lock the form before the deadline — unlocked forms are not considered.

Check General Merit List & Verify Details

Once the General Merit List is published, log in and verify your merit rank, marks, category and other details. Apply corrections during the official grievance / objection window if any error is found.

Seat Allotment via CAP Rounds

Seats are allotted based on SSC merit, reservation category and your college/stream preferences through Zero Round (Quota seats) → CAP Round 1 → CAP Round 2 → Special Round (if applicable). Check your allotment result online.

Accept Allotment & Report to College

Log in to the portal and accept your allotted seat online. Then report to the allotted college (Shri Swami Vivekanand Jr. College) within the specified deadline with all original documents.

Pay Fees & Receive Admission Confirmation

Submit original documents at the college office, pay the admission fees and collect your official admission confirmation slip. Classes will commence as per the college schedule.

SSC (10th Standard) pass from any recognised board

Minimum 35% aggregate marks (as per Maharashtra State Board norms)

Maharashtra State Board or CBSE / ICSE students eligible

No entrance exam required — merit-based admission on SSC marks

Open to all categories — SC / ST / OBC / EBC / SBC / Open

Caste Certificate (if applicable)
